I am a painter working with acrylic paint and want to use epoxy as a tick finishing who has any idea how this works and what to use?

I did it one time and will probably need a very good reason to try again. It it messy, smelly and very VERY hard to clean up after.

It was a long time ago...er... Be sure you have a varnish between your painting and the epoxy resin. It will make it 'flow' better. If you apply it directly to the acrylic chances are you will get air bubbles.

You may want to ask the people you buy the epoxy from what best to use as it differs much depending on brand and even weather conditions, really. Make sure you get the kind you can poor. If you have to use a spatula it will never become a smooth finish.
