TOLTEC, apparently you would rather have a river dredged for your discovery. Tell me then, who can dredge a lake of fire?

zealotzookeeper, Jesus extended His Hand long before you or I were born. He still holds it out, will you grab it?

LJay2000. I would never claim to be the Most High God. Just one of His Lifeguards.

I got your point. I understand. I don't think what you are saying is stupid. Gods hand is always their to try and help us, we just sometimes think we don't need his help. That is if you don't know any better. We could not be answering these questions if it weren't for him. We can't do anything without him. I just hate that most people have to be drowning before we reach out for his hand.

Simple: Because God does not exist.
Why not grab on to the Flying Spaghetti Monster's noodly appendage or Zeus or Thor, etc, etc, etc...
Why such a negative analogy? I'm not drowning in life, I'm doing quite well at the moment. The logic of your argument - whether you realize it or not - is to sucker vulnerable people (who are "drowning") into religion. This is a rather disturbing tactic.
If you want to help people, offer your hand instead of "God's Hand to Eternal Life" give them a pat on the back and be a friend. Telling them to go to Church won't do half of what you can do by being a good human being.

i have already recieved eternal life now sailing in life with JESUS.
JESUS loves you.Have u recieved JESUS for the forgiveness of your sins?
John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with the blood JESUS shed on the cross.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

Come every soul by sin oppressed
There's mercy with the Lord
And He will surely give you rest
By trusting in His Word.
Only trust Him
Only trust Him
Only trust Him now
He will save you
He will save you
He will save you now.

If it's my time to go then that would be Gods decision. Why do people of my faith feel they must preach 24/7? Even God took a day off

hmmmmm maybe that's not such a good example....usually, when a person is in fear of drowning they lose all "rational" thought and would be more likely not to see the hand reaching out....
Peace be with you

Are you saying you are god?
There is no eternal life, and giving up the only life I have for a pipe dream is utterly unacceptable.

What if I wasn't drowning and you tried to convince me I was? What if you can't swim better than me and you take me under? Sorry, I need to be convinced I'm drowning in the first place. I'm an excellent swimmer.

i have received it but alot of people want to be in control of their own lives, they don't like the idea of submitting to God because they don't know if they can trust Him. Its pride. They want to be the god of their own lives and call the shots.

Show me the hand.
Show me that I am even drowning.
If you were thirsty and I offered to sell you water at $1,000 a bottle, would you buy it? Why not, you are really really thirsty! Ignore the water fountain over there - it's poison I tell you!!
