I would normally say that you should taker her to the vet. However, it's very likely that the vet will tell you to clean the wound for a few days until it goes away.
You can start with just warm, slightly soapy water. It will be best, however, if you can add some iodine to that solution. You'll probably need to treat it several times a day. Do what you can to keep her hair out of it, and keep it clean. Also, at some point it will probably start itching her...when possible, try to keep her from scratching it, as this may cause more problems with the wound, itself.
Just like a zit, if you keep it clean, it will go away on its own in a few days.

Use squirrel tail... not literally, its a plant. You can usually find it in the fields. It looks like a squirrel tail, but green.
When you pick it, boil it in water for about 20 mins. When the water has cooled to room temp. dip a rag in the squirrel tail water and place it on the wound. Dont ring it out.
Apply it through out the day and she will be as good as new....
My cat had a use lump on his cheek and squirrel tails made it go away. Squirrel tail is an old Native American remedy they used on their wounds that we still use today .
good Luck!

Oh, my gosh! Call your vet and see what they say. I guess it depends on what is coming out of the lump. If it looks like puss, she probably needs immediate medical attention.
