find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

The key to losing weight is implementing a new lifestyle. Eating healthy is not as bad as you think. If you eat healthier you would be surprised at the portion sizes you are allowed. Exercise alone will not help you lose weight, exercise does build muscle and muscle weighs more. You may be benefiting your body by exercising but if you don't eat less you won't see a change in the numbers on the scale. it's a good start though. thinking about it that's a little more than what i weigh and my height, i'm super happy with my body right now. i think i look damn good and i feel great.

Exercise is good. Make sure you eat well too. You could start out with a good organ cleansing program like www.greatfit.isagenix.com to get the fat cells out. Then avoid artificial sweetners, reduce or eliminate soda and/or coffee. Drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day. Read labels. Avoid anything that contains MSG or partially hydrogenated oils. Fill your plate 1/2 full with cooked or raw vegetables and don't forget the protein. Remember your body craves nutrients not calories. Hope that helps.

cannot be done by using just a treadmill. you need to incorporate free weights. you will plateau quickly. dumbells are the best. if you aren't able to spend the money yet (they aren't THAT expensive really), try getting fitness bands with different tensions.

you HAVE to have resistant training to lose weight.
and this can't be done in a couple of months--at least not safely.

it's a good 8 months or a year's commitment.

youtube has some amazing videos of home workouts using free weights.

You also need to EAT LESS. When I first tried to lose weight, I exercised everyday...but it did NOTHING to me. If you eat less...a lot less..you'll lose the weight right away.
