If she wants to wait, then she should wait. Obviously. If he would pressure her into doing something this important and life changing even though she doesn't want to, then he would be a terrible partner and father.

This a mutual decision your aunt and boyfriend have to come to. Becoming a parent is a huge responsibility, especially if you are going to do it correctly. No one should be pressured into having a child when they are not ready.

The key word is "boyfriend". They need to get married first before he could persuade her to agree to the idea of having a baby. It is not too difficult to father a child but it takes a responsible man to be a DAD! The child when born needs to have a surname/family name. What? Is he or she gonna adopt the mother's name? This is why they need to decide to marry first.

Your aunt is doing the right thing by not having a baby until she is ready. The question her b/f should be asking is Will you marry me? If he isnt ready to commit then he isnt ready for a baby.

I'd have her ask him why all the pressure? And, why is he not making a commitment to her first (marriage)? He may want a kid but she doesn't have to be the oven for his bun. IF SHE'S NOT READY OR WANTS A COMMITMENT FIRST, SHE SHOULD NOT DO IT!

That would be a big NO. If he continues to pressure her she needs to move on and find someone who will take NO for an answer.

no, not until BOTH are ready. Parenting is something you do not and should not be coerced or forced into doing. it is a wonderful thing, but you need to know you are ready to be able to handle the many years to come. some people are just not ready.

I think if she doesn't want to then she shouldn't. Tell her to wait until she is ready. What if she finally gives in and has a baby but she doesn't want it, that wouldn't be best for the baby.

She should only plan to have a child if and when she is ready.
"accidents" happen and that will be something she will deal with then. Until then, she should not get pregnant until she feels it is right.

I think she should find someone else who has the same ideas about children. No one should feel forced to have a child.
