Nicely said Mandi :)

The word for God in Genesis 1:1 is elohim, which is essentially a plural form of a more basic root-Hebrew word for God: eloh. Also, the Arabic translation of the Jewish Bible uses the name "Allah" to refer to God in Genesis 1:1

in accordance to Islam, Jesus is a prophet of Allah. Muslims have faith that Muhammad is his final prophet. So the two are referred to as prophets. Moses stated in Deuteronomy 18:18-22 the abilities of this prophet who will come after him. God stated by Moses: “i'll develop them up a Prophet from between their brethren, like unto thee.” Like Moses. What replaced into Moses? An Israelite. How approximately Muhammad, replaced into he an Israelite? He replaced into no longer. How approximately Jesus? He comes from the line of David, consequently, an Israelite. subsequently, Jesus meets the qualification. Muhammad would not. God additionally stated that “whilst a prophet speaketh interior the call of the Lord, if the ingredient persist with no longer, nor come to bypass, it fairly is the ingredient which the Lord hath no longer spoken, however the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt no longer be petrified of him.” What are the flaws that Muhammad prophesied? Is there any? How approximately Jesus? Did He prophesy? He foretold the autumn of three cities: Capernaum, Chorazin, and Bethsaida (Matthew 11:21-24). He foretold the autumn of Jerusalem to take place interior one era (Luke 19:40-one-40 4). He foretold the dispersion of the Jews (Luke 21:24). He even foretold that one in each and every of His disciples will betray Him (Matthew 26:21), and Peter’s denial of Jesus three times observed via the crowing of a c-o-c-ok (Matthew 26:34, seventy 4). He even foretold His coming back and the arriving of the Holy Spirit after Him in John chapters 14, 15 and sixteen. Who then is extra plausible in accordance with what God stated by Moses: Muhammad or Jesus? Muhammad lived 1400 years in the past, and Jesus, some 2000 years in the past. So all of us have not met the prophet we've faith in. we are interior the comparable taking part in field. enable us to ascertain who we could continually have faith. we could seek for the authentic God and not any gods.

Yes, I did know that. Allah is Yahweh. Yahweh is the God of Abraham, Moses, Jacob, Christ, and Muhummad. All of thse prophets are being sent by the same God. I am not Muslims, but I know that Muslims do follow the teachings of Christ. I know that one of the key beliefs is that Jesus is a prophet from Allah. I think this is something many Christians do not understand. I think we need better understanding of one another's religions because there is too much hatred going on.

Dream on professor.

He may have been called a prophet while he walked this earth by others, but he was and still is more than that. Jesus is not only the son of God, he is God.

Well, duh -- the greatest Prophet. Arab Christians call God "Allah" -- it is not a term reserved for Muslims, as it is the Arabic word for God.
It's just that people hear the word "Allah" and immediately, in their ignorance, think "Muslim."
And guess what -- Jesus is Allah, too! :-) Prophet, Priest, King, Lord, 2nd person in the Holy Trinity.

Okay, the Koran is a false record. Not all of it is true. They picked bits and pieces that they liked from the Bible and added and touched up on some things and viola! Was the Koran. It ain't true. Jesus was NOT a prophet of allah.

The God of Abraham is the same God of the Jews, Christians and Muslims.

We just have different ideas of what he is like and what he wants of us.

You "people" will twist any bit of truth to sell your lies, won't you?

Just because there are similarities in Holy books, does NOT make them the same.

He's even mentioned as the messiah in the Qur'an, isn't he?

I don't think the founder of Islam realized what that meant..
