whole foods themselves are not fattening it is the quantity at which they are consumed in and the time of day
1-2 whole eggs no problem, now 4-6 whole eggs would be too much fat for most to consume at one time.
rice when consumed in sensible portions no problem, but you wouldn't want to consume a cup of rice right before bed time when the body will not have a chance to utilize the carbohydrates.
the quantities and timing of nutrients is just as important

Eggs are a good source of protein and eaten in the morning will help reduce your appetite all day long. You really don't have to limit yourself to how many you eat per se. There used to be cholestral concerns asscociated with high egg intake. But, they haven't proven to be true. They can be combined with rice to make fried rice. White rice is a lot of processed starch(carbs) which if eaten in large quantities will add weight. Try brown rice instead because it is a whole grain and is better for you.

the egg yolk is and not so good for you, if you are lookgin for something better get Egg beaters i think its called, its just the egg whites, but with some coloring to make it look like eggs...it comes in a carton...there is not fat and all the protein of an egg.....rice is not so fattening but id suggest using brown rice instead cuz it is a better carb
