There are some specialty screws especially made for MDF (3/4"), but they seam to have a small head on them. I have used pan heads with pilot holes, but even then, they seam to split the wood. any sugestions of what has worked well for you? Sparky? KaeZoo? Love to hear from you guys.

Of course, you can get regular 8-32 Philips machine screws if you don't feel like ordering a security hex bit. :)

H-nuts or T-nuts with machine screws are always the way to go over wood screws, because you can remove and replace the subwoofers as many times as you wish.

T-nuts work very well, but can be a pain.

About half-way down my site you'll see what I'm talking about.
