it does... but envirowhackos don't want you to know it.
Mt Pinatubo released more CFC's into the atmosphere in 3 days than man did in all of the 1970's and 1980's COMBINED.

A volcanic eruption has many consequences but it's effects on the ozone layer are minor.
Along with ash and sulphur dioxide, volcanoes also emit chlorine, this reacts with hydrogen in the atmosphere to produce hydrochloric acid, through decomposition and reaction with sluphur dioxide this forms sulphuric acid which damages the ozone layer in the same way that manmade CFC's do (chlorofluorocarbons).
Compared with the damage caused by CFC's the damage caused by all the volcanoes in the world is minimal.
--------------
As 3DM points out, volcanoes do not produce CFC's, these are almost entirely synthetic gases. Also, volcanoes don't cause warming they cause cooling - the sulphur dioxide reflects sunlight back into space. The world cooled following the eruption in 1991 of Mount Pinatubo, just as it did following all major volcanic eruptions.

Global warming is a natural occurence. Releasing gases into the ozone is very impossible to stop. Why? Volcanoes erupt, people exhale carbon dioxide, etc. Mountains erupting does add more damage to the ozone layer. Global Warming is a natural occurence, but it was happening slowly. We are speeding it up by driving cars and such, therefore adding unhealthily large amounts of damage to the ozone. Not only is this speeding up global warming, endangering everything, but it's also affecting our health. I walk to school in the morning, and I would like to walk to school without suffocating, but that's impossible.

Yes, but volcanic emissions have a relatively short negative effect on ozone. Mainly those aerosol emissions only help the man-made sources destroy ozone. Volcanoes usually effect the layer for a couple of years, whereas man's polluting has a negative effect for decades.
Sorry, Fred. Volcanoes don't emit CFCs.

Actually a moutain does not "erupt".
What erupts is a volcano.
A volcano is cone shaped because it has magma underneath it that makes the soil rise, with the possibility of erupting.
A moutain is cone shaped due to tectonic forces, not magma.
A moutain would never explode other than by planting explosives there.

Yes, volcanic activity and global warming go hand in hand. Global temps rise following volcanic activity, Except this latest rise in temperature. It was unexplained until the data from the co2 created since the industrial revolution was factored in, then everything fit nicely again.
