I have absolutely no idea what "pulled at the stake" means
, but if it is anything like it sounds, I would choose the religion of the people doing the pulling (or the staking??).

This is of course if you mean what would I say to get away from the religious nuts and their stake pulling. If you mean I actually had to believe it, the only possible choice would be death.

EDIT: I'm just enjoying the image of being allowed to choose between religions on punishment of death. This seems like a very ecumenical group of extrmists.

Christianity since I know it better.

Honestly I think it'd be stupid to choose death in this situation. What's the point? It's not like you're going to win brownie-points with your un-god for sticking up for him, you're probably going to be able to resist the evil regime that's forcing you to do this better if you're alive, and death isn't choosing freedom death is the ultimate lack of freedom. You can't do anything, you don't exist anymore.

This is done in a different manner in many parts of the World already. How many people are forced into a religion or given a hideous alternative?

Chrisitianity. I think Islam is even more extreamist and sexist in some ways and I have hung around enough Christians and chruches that I can at least pretend that one a little better.

I in simple terms have faith in one fewer god than you do. once you comprehend why you push aside all the different achieveable gods, you will comprehend why I push aside yours.-

So many atheists choosing death. Would they rather die instead of pick a religion so that they could be in the running for the Darwin award?

I would guess Christianity since the Muslims are not noted for burning people at the stake, while Christians are.
