I do feel your pain and completely understand your outcry. A true Christian shouldn't automatically start condemning anyone, let alone one of God's creatures. I agree with you that God created you the way you are, just as He created heterosexuals the way we are. But, (and this is the hard part) the reason Christians are telling you that you need God's help and guidance is because there is no other way to be helped with this situation. Just as pedophiles, rapist and other sexual appetites that are condemned in the scriptures are born in a person, they still aren't acceptable by the Almighty God and have to be relinquished. The Bible clearly does tell us that "the act" of homosexuality is wrong and sinful. I think that (and this is hard to accept) the gift that homosexuals can give back to the LORD is to refrain from the "act" of homosexuality. I know that not acting on your natural sexual impulses would have to be the hardest thing a person could do, but if you did this God would be so delighted and will surely reward you for your suffering for Him. I will pray for you to be set free of this bondage that you, by no fault of your own doing are going through.
God Bless You

Okay, first of all God doesn't ANYBODY. And neither should Christians. And for all of those people who respond that way aren't real Christians. And for anyone to say "because Christians are better than you" I know can't be real Christians either. That's not the way a true Christian should think. If your answers were from Christians, they wouldn't be so condescending. And I admit, as a Christian, that some of them are. Now when it comes to being gay, neither God nor me s you in even the least bit!! Do you think God sacrificed His One and Only Son because He s you? No! Because He loves you! And I tell you now, God would have done it regardless if you were the only person on earth. He does love you that much. But the reason you've gotten answers like you have is because it says in the Bible a man and a woman should be united. Not a man and a man, or a woman and a woman. A MAN and a WOMAN. I apologize for all those inconsiderate answers you've gotten concerning this. I hope you someday find the True Light.
GOD BLESS ALL!! ;)

Okay, let me straighten things out (no pun intended, literally). I am a Christian and I happen to love gay people. I don't think that the way they are is right, but I don't hate them. And, God did not create you that way, it is a trick of the devil. True Christians do not hate gay people, and they don't think that is a choice. I know it's not a choice. You can't help it if the devil chose you to trick. Besides, the Bible says in Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not have sex with a man as with a woman. It is an abomination." So, why would God create something that He Himself says is an abomination?

I don't know why some Christians are like that. I am a Christian, and personally, I have no problem with people being gay. It does not make them any less of a person. God loves everyone the same, and if you really are a Christian, you should understand that. You should be proud of who you are, you are a creation of God!

Inconsiderate. That was truly kind of you, there are much more descriptive adjectives you could have used.
I believe it's because they don't believe that God created each creature as a perfect entity through God's own perfect and divine will and grace. They believe what men wrote; what they believed the way God would have things be based on their personal (and selfish) biases. But that's just my personal belief.

I am a Christian, and I think the large majority of "us" are wrong. I do believe that living a gay lifestyle is sin because I believe the Bible literally. BUT, I also believe that eating too much, murder, cheating on your taxes are also sins and I believe that any one of the above separates us from God.
I believe that we are all born with our own weaknesses and issues. It's how we deal with them that causes the sin in our lives. If you choose to live a gay lifestyle, I say your sin is no worse than someone who overats (ouch for a lot of you reading!).
So when I eat 8 oreo cookies (when I know I should only have two), to me that is no different than going out and boinking another girl.
Unfortunately, I think my views are not very common. I try to look at it like God would - sin is sin - hate the sin - love the sinner.
And, by the way. I consider ALL people to be sinners because we all are descendants of Adam - that's why we all need Christ. If we weren't sinners, we wouldn't need a savior. When Christian's talk about sinners and don't include themselves, their doctrine is incorrect.

Well that's what there Religious beliefs tell them is appropriate .
Trying to bend yourself into a pretzel will not change them.It will only cause you pain. Do not try to seek there approval you do not need it.
God is aware of his creation and its perfection. We are all different God is in our diversity.
That is the only approval that is necessary.
Just because a group of people run around telling everyone they speak for God does not mean it is so.

Who knows. Bigotry is irrational. They would say that it's because their textbook says homosexuality is against the rules, but it's no use pointing out that that same book also condemns divorce with equal vigor, condones slavery, subjugates women, mandates animal sacrifice, et al.
Yet they're so thoroughly disingenuous that they can't even admit they hate gay people - they have to invoke their "Hate the sin, love the sinner" nonsense so that they can preserve their image of themselves as compassionate even as they indulge their bigotry.

God didn't create gay people , just like He didn't create adulterers. Sin is sin , and whoever thinks , that one sin is worse than another, they will be surprised , when they meet God.
And keeping people out of certain forums is just not possible , because people tend to do as they please. There are many people in the Christian forum bashing us, and even though it isn't right ,it will continue as long as there are people.
People ,who judge gays and hate them for it , are really not worthy to call themselves Christians, because the Gospel calls us to love all people. Jesus always ministered around sinners , He believed that they needed His love more than the people already saved.
We know, that God can do all things and there is nothing impossible with God, but you have to want to change , nobody can be forced into it. But in order to serve God and be ambassadors for Him, we cannot remain in sin, and that is for all of us , not only gays.
To those who convict only gays, look in the mirror at the beam in your own eye and stop focusing on the toothpick in someone else's eye.
God bless you, I can feel your pain.......

Not all Christians are like that. Personally, I have absolutely no problem with gay people. One of my best-friends growing up is a lesbian and another is gay. I know it's nature and not nurture.
