It depends on how large and where it is located. If it is a small unbroken blister, you don't need to do anything, it will heal on its own. If it has already broken you will want to clean it with an antiseptic, cover it with a dab of neosporin and then use a band-aid. This should help prevent infection.

When i get a blister i get a needle and pop it and drain it out then try to remove the skin using finger nail clippers if possible. Then cover it with neosporian and a band aid and uncover it during the night to let air get to it.

Just leave them alone. Don't pop it, as the stuff inside is sterile, and if it pops on its own leave the loose skin on because the underside of it is sterile and will stick to it like a ready-made band-aid. Maybe cover it with a band-aid and some ointment but let it air out a little every day. Don't let it soak if you can help it since bacteria loves moisture.

If it's small, put a daub of antibiotic like neosporin on it, put a bandaid or small bandage over it, and keep it covered for a few days. If the blister pops, its best to clip away the loose skin so that it doesn't get infected.

One thing that you should never do is burst them or cover them over with a plaster. Let it burst on its own accordance, but keep the area clean from dirt. Once the blister has burst leave it to dry and then bathe it in luke warm salt water.
