The so-called mother should be locked up for a long time, any remaining kids should be put in foster care, and she should not see any of them until they reach the age of 18.

Plain and simple.

ABSOLUTELY! She broke the law -- she belongs in jail. I would never serve alcohol to the children of others. What kind of example would it have set to the son if the police let her get away with that. I would not allow my child to go a party where the adult feels it's right to serve alcohol to minors (or break other laws).

I'm not familiar with the case, but it seems to me that it's illegal to do that, so of course it's right. It's one thing to serve your own children/teens a glass of wine with dinner on special occasions. It's another thing to serve other people's kids. If it was more than that, it's even worse.

That's how the law works. Do something illegal, and you may be fined, you may get probation, or you may go to jail. She's an adult and had to know what she was doing was illegal - and as an adult, she pays the consequences. There are better ways to change laws you disagree with than simply disregarding them.

I think it was wrong if the other parents did not know about the alcohol. Growing up on holidays at age 16 or so my mom and dad would let me have a glass of champagne or wine. I see nothing wrong with one , but when you give alcohol to other minors, especially without parental consent, I think there is an issue there.

Yes.. She is an adult and should of know better than to serve alcohol to minors. Its a different story if they were drinking and she didnt know about, but what she did was irresponible and should be set as an example for other mothers who might be thinking that it "cool" to do the same thing

Hell yeah, I would be furious, I would want to kick her crazy biotch self. I cant stand those kind of moms, trying to be the "cool mom", parents aren't supposed be all buddy buddy with their kids, thats why they are parents to disipline and try to set a good example to be a good adult.

She broke a federal law...why shouldn't she go to jail? It's not like she didn't know the consequences.
