You're allergic to cats. I've found that when I come in contact to new cats, I have the same reaction, but after about a month, the cat is no longer "new" to my system, and the rash stops.

The best way to deal with this is to take an over the counter medicine, like Claritin. And to help the rash that;s already broken out, take Benedryl. Eventually the reaction might lessen, but everyone reacts differently.

I'd talk to your doctor if it becomes a problem.

If the rash goes away when you get away from the cats, you are probably allergic. The fact that it doesn't happen with other cats is probably due to the fact that you don't spend so much time in a house with other cats. Take an antihistamine pill, and if the rash goes away, it means it is probably an allergy. Ask an allergy doctor if you can have shots against this allergy, they really improve things.
If the rash stays on your face even after you've left the house for a while, it may be a parasite, so get the cats checked.

maybe it's some sort of lice or fleas
or maybe your just allergic to a certain breed
if they are outdoor they could be getting something on them that your allergic to

I suggest having your cats checked for ringworm and mange mites.
