She seems to have long hair. She has a very thick soft fly coat and many very long random hairs sticking out. It looks as if she was zapped. This is my first Kitten/Cat. Her Mom is a Birman and her dad is a Persian. I am not sure how Kittens fur grow in. Nevertheles, She is sweet and is getting allong nicely with my Spaniel.

your cat will proably have long and short hair because a persian has long hair and a birman has short hair

The odds are pretty good that your kitten will grow up to become a beautiful long-haired cat.

congratulation on the kitten getting along with the dog.
now as for your question, it is very possible that your kitten will have long hair.
just brush her every day so she sill get use to it and grow to like it.
