No there is currently no legal requirement for anyone to enlist.
However, males must register with the Selective Service when they reach the age of 18.

No, it is not required that you enlist in the Army or any military branch for that matter. However, if you are a male between the ages of 18-25 and live in the United States, then you must register with the Selective Service System.

No. It is not required to enlist in the Army. The only thing you do have to sign up for is for the Selective Service. Selective Service is a registration where in case there is a draft you can be calle up. The last time there was a draft was for the Vietnam war.
