The trinity is a doctrine that is based on the Catholic Athanasian Creed, not on the Bible. In part, it says: "Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the Catholic Faith. And the Catholic Faith is this, that we worship one God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity. And in this Trinity none is afore or after Other, None is greater or less than Another, but the whole Three Persons are Co-eternal together, and Co-equal."

I invite you to search the Bible, especially the 27 books of the Christian Greek Scriptures, to see for yourself if Jesus and his disciples taught a Trinity. As you search, ask yourself:

1. Can I find any scripture that mentions “Trinity”?

2. Can I find any scripture that says that God is made up of three distinct persons, Father, Son, and holy spirit, but that the three are only one God?

3. Can I find any scripture that says that the Father, Son, and holy spirit are equal in all ways, such as in eternity, power, position, and wisdom?

Search as you may, you will not find one scripture that uses the word Trinity, nor will you find any that says that Father, Son, and holy spirit are equal in all ways, such as in eternity, power, position, and wisdom. Not even a single scripture says that the Son is equal to the Father in those ways—and if there were such a scripture, it would establish not a Trinity but at most a “duality.” Nowhere does the Bible equate the holy spirit with the Father.

the Trinity belief is an attempt to understand the nature of God and the relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; how these three are one and how the three are unique.

The people who reject the "trinity" are those who don't even understand what the debate is about.

The debate surrounds the nature of the Holy Spirit. The commonly held belief is that the Holy Spirit is a "person" in the same way the Father and Jesus Christ are "persons".

Those who reject the trinity claim the Holy Spirit is the "power" or "force" of or from God, and is of itself not a "person" yet these people never define their terms, and resort to arguments that are illogical, such as "the Trinity is not mentioned in the Bible" as though that is a proof.

The Holy Spirit is depicted as speaking in Scripture to the Saints. Can a force or power speak? No. So the evidence points to the Holy Spirit indeed being a "person" like the other two. Those opposed to the "personage" of the Holy Spirit offer no sustantive evidence to the contrary.

What they do not realize is that they are actually denying the witness of the Holy Spirit in a Christian's life, being an ample guide to the Christian instead of the law or laws made up by various groups claiming to be Christian.

It depend upon which Trinity you are refering to. In Christion theology, the trinity refers to the father, son, and holy ghost, the three distinct aspects of the Christian God.

Myself being a pagan, the trinity refers to the triple aspects of the the Goddess, a representation of life and it's cycles. THis trinity is that of Mother, Maiden, and crone. Meaning that we begin life as Maidens, pure and innoscent, we reach the stage of mother hood, where taking care of others is more important than our innoscence, we become wisened and learn more about life. The Crone aspect is that of an elder, someone that has much to teach and share but cannot participate in the creation of life until such time as death, when the circle repeats itself and crone becomes maid in a new life cycle.

But I suppose you could be refering to the trinity of life, eat, drink, and be merry!!!!
all have there place, but which will you choose?

The Holy Trinity is the ONE true God. The Father, The Son (Jesus Christ), and The Holy Spirit are three distinct beings each being fully God, but are all ONE God. The Holy Trinity make up a single nature/essence. They act in eternal perfect harmony. God bless.

Holy Trinity—One God
The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit,
three separate Persons, and yet One.
Divine mystery beyond perception.
We look at One—We look at All.
We pray to One—We pray to All.
We love One—We love All.
One love’s us—All love us.
Father–Son–Holy Spirit—One God.

If one is a TRUE Christian one believes in the Trinity

The trinity is a christian myth debunked by none other than Jesus Himself in The Apocryphon of John. This is a book that christians refuse to take seriously because they would rather believe Moses. Be smart, Jesus knows more than Moses.

It is the father (God), son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. It is sort of like the three musketeers, one for all and all for one, except the trinity is the three as one.

Here is one way to think of it. its like us. God contains much information but can manifest him self bodily and also has a personality. One way to talk about being human is Spirit, Soul, and Body. The Spirit could be the quirkyness in us that makes each of us unique. The soul could be all the information you have stored up and helps define your personality. And of course your body interprets commands from the combination of information(soul) and that unique thing that gives you a propose (spirit) when dealing with that information. Interesting thing is if we are raptured and recieve a new body our soul and spirit will be saved but body will die as it is of this dimension. In order to live in another dimension you have to transfer the information over to a new body. If the spirit is already extra dimensional it would be hard to detect but can probably operate a body from its dimension or interface other ways. Hence will have new bodies in heaven. God is a unique personality. He love and has purpose. He has all information which makes him the most capable being as well as being complete in character. His body is not like our body. He is omni-present and time is relative to him. A day as a thousand years and visa versa. Read your bible with this in mind and it may help but remember these are just my speculations. You will have to develop your own relationship with God to understand for your self. A relationship with God also protects you from mans religous propaganda as well. But it takes a leap of faith to begin the journey. Ask about the process of Salvation and the Christian journey for more understanding on that.

Double talk by the church. At one time whatever the "father" said was believed without question. The church, for whatever reason, came up with this trinity idea. It was a hair-brained idea that they're stuck with .
