You need to check out this site if you are over 18. WWW.Cherrytap.com they have a lot of singles, and even people that live in your state. If you'd like to meet a nice girl, why not get involved in your community (or an activity you enjoy) and meet someone who enjoys doing the same things you are doing?
Trouble with Internet is that you are likely to end up with a predator... or to (hopefully) be avoided for fear that YOU are the predator.
