My husband is a truck driver and has suffered from hemmorhoids on and off for years, but lately anything I do they just wont go away even with doctors drugs.I have bought many things for them Perparation H, Tucks, even expensive brands of things and have done the soaks ect.Is there anything else he can possibly do to less the pain till he can see the doctor?I feel so bad for him and I have tried to help so much.Ty for any responses.

Just keep toughing it out til he can get to the doctor but in meantime, try to find a doughnut pillow for him to sit on. This will take the direct pressure off the affected area and should give him some relief.

Between suppositories and preparation-H that's about all he can do. Whenever he has a chance to take a sit bath, this relieves them. The doctors the only hope and, surgery.

His job is aggravating them. Sitting for extended time,weight issues,poor diet can lead to them. Can he make more frequent stops and walk around?Also,try more fruits and veges and fiber foods to avoid constipation that also leads to them. Sometimes surgery is the answer if the other methods fail.Good Luck.

I,m sure you'll get this from many others,but I used to drive cross country. I'm afraid he needs to find another career.

Now you can have them removed with a laser. You're pretty much in and out of the office.

Wet wipes or surgery. If he has a lot of hair in his crack, he may consider getting that waxed.
