I recently had a mole removed on my breast because it was irregular and while it wasn't cancerous, my doctor thought it was best to remove it so it didn't become a problem. Since then, I have been looking over my body for other moles and have found one on my buttocks. It is just a regular mole, not like the one on my breast, but I am wondering if it is a problem because of its location? As I'm sure you can understand, I'm not exactly thrilled to run to my doctor and show him this one...

I had one on my labia majora....if you don't think removal of that one embarrassing!!!!
Just because you have one in an embarrassing spot, doesn't mean it could be a problem. If it appears normal to you, I wouldn't worry about.

This sounds strange, but take a picture of it every six months so that you can compare and see if it has changed. Of course, if it changes, you will have to see your doctor.

almost all moles in your pubic area are precancerous, so if you find one close to your bits, you really need need to get it checked out (one of those little things most people dont know about moles)... the for the one on your butt, it depends on how close it is to your pubic region.... if you're really worried though, go see your doc
