At WalMart in the Baby section they have a baby corral. It works great for keeping the pups in one place and it has plenty of room for them until they are 8 weeks old. Cost about 60 dollars but worth every penny.

We had 7 puppies, they were German Shepherds, that could climb out of almost anything or found a way to get hurt. So since their adventure streak wasn't going anywhere and their messes weren't smelling any better we decided since the temperture was decent to move them for small amounts of time outside. We bought a corral. Its a nice little pen that didn't cost too much and allowed plenty a freedom.
It worked really well for us and we were able to put them outside and let them run and play and get worn out and at night we would put them back in their regular kennel to sleep.
Getting this kennel/crate/pen will help you out greatly. It even had a use for us after the puppies. We ended up keeping one and him and his buddy sleep in it at night because of the youthfulness energy they have when destroying household items at night.
The kennel can be bought at petco or petsmart. Here is a link to the kennel:

That's just part of having puppies. You have to clean up after them constantly because they do it all in the same place. It is a big job to keep them clean. And once Mom decides to wean them, she also stops cleaning up their tushies.

Get an ex pen or two (depending on the size of the pups). If you get two, make sure they're the kind you can attach together to make one big one.

They will begin to explore but are really to young. You should start this in about a week and start to wean tehm at that time as tehy will need mom some but not as much.they will only be starting to get a little bladder/kidney control and can't be trained for potting until about 6 weeks.

Buy one of those round plastic pools. Plenty of space and easy to clean up after them.
