I think if the flash is on, then it is rude. It's annoying when I'm trying to eat somewhere nice and people keep taking pictures.
And I work at a fancy restaurant, and I notice that customers get annoyed when others are taking pictures with flash.
I don't think anyone would even notice if it weren't for flash.
But I guess it doesn't really matter anyway....
people are so rude now.
People talk on their phones loudly when others are trying to have a nice meal, and some people don't even attempt to be quiet when they're at restaurants.

It really is not appropriate to take a bunch of pictures at the table in a fine dining establishment.
But, if you must take one or two at the table doing so without the flash would be the least distracting to the other patrons.
A couple should be fine but more than that is pushing it.

I love seeing restaurant pictures with friends. Everyone always looks so happy. I think it's okay to take 2 or 3, but if you're talking 5 or 6, no, I don't think that's appropriate. It makes you look like you've never been off the farm, and is rude to the other patrons, who are usually paying for the ambiance more than the food. However, if you're in the bar area, I think it would be okay.

Ordering is wholly as much as you. You don't must order something you do not desire from the menu. But by and large talking, an appetizer for two, an entree for each, and a wasteland for two must be a great night. You do not must order wine. But, you can't order wine on account that you are now not 21 besides. All eating places must card so as to preserve their alcohol license. So do not even attempt to order wine for you and your visitor. Your visitor can order wine for themselves despite the fact that. Eventhough they're 21, you wont get a pitcher for wine, handiest they're going to. As a long way as different suggestions, you do not must act any one of a kind. Just do not bounce round on most sensible of the desk screaming, or making an excessive amount of of a idiot of your self.

If you are quiet, quick and as unobtrusive as possible it is not rude. Taking more than a couple of pictures might be disturbing to the other patrons. Most restaurants know if you go to an outstanding establishment, people like to keep a momento of it.

I think its ok if one person takes one or two. Its not ok for everyone to whip out their camera and have a battle of flashes.
If its a very fine restaurant, ask the maitre de if there is a policy you should know of. If you get his blessing youre all right.

Don't do it at the table. Step into the lobby and take the photo there.

Don't use a flash. Then it's not as distracting.
