Noah was delivered from judgment. Lot was delivered from judgment.
The 3 Hebrew Children were thrown into the fire, but they were un-singed.
These are just a few of the examples where God has spared his people the judgment that followed.
Pre-Millennialism may have started in the 1800's, but that does not make it wrong.
There will be a removal of the church from the earth prior to the tribulation. There may even be a mid-tribulation removal of those that have converted to Jesus.
But I do not think that there is scriptural evidence that the church will go through the tribulation as the church has to be removed for the Antichrist to be revealed.
