The President addresses latinos while the Senate wants to keep secrets?

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The morning after Senate leaders had revived his immigration reform bill, which a week ago appeared stalled, President Bush spoke to the Latino group Esperanza -- "hope" in Spanish.

"I continue to work closely with members of both parties to get past our differences and pass a bill I can sign this year," the president said at Esperanza's annual National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast.

Democrats and Republicans hope to keep details of the amendments from the public until the debate begins, a Republican senator said.

Government con artists showing a complete disdain for their constituents.... hmmm.... what else is new. The pro-amnesty legislators saw the public beating this bill got, so when all else fails and we're not stupid enough to buy into their BS, they figured why not ram it through without our consent or our knowledge of its contents and consequences. Speaking of consequences, we're all crazy and deserve what we get if we don't start working hard to vote these people out of office.

From what I know it's only back on the floor for debate. And I am still hearing that most have not changed their minds with regards to giving into illegals, and amnesty.

It isn't right, but it is happening.
Call your senator and tell them that:

You are disappointed that the Senate is reconsidering the amnesty bill.
A "yes" vote on cloture is a "yes" vote for amnesty.
Vote NO on cloture for the Bush-Kennedy Amnesty bill.
A "yes" vote will label them FOREVER as pro-amnesty.

It isn't right, and us TRUE Conservatives will make them and all who agree with them pay the price if they allow this devious action to succeed!
Their only HOPE is to SUBSTANTIALLY change the existing bill, prosecuit those hiring the illegals and SECURE the border!!!
New legislation is needed and required - NOT what they have NOW.

I think 'Tancredo' must be a Y/A filter word, since a question I tried to post doesn't seem to be coming up. In any event, you might be interested in this article.
