Supposedly, Busch was already looking around, but personal opinion is that when Jr. expressed an interest in Hendrick, he was "urged" to leave. Things had been a little tense between Busch and Hendrick anyway and I think this was a good out for both. Also supposed to be that the late Rick Jr had expressed to his father that one day Jr. will drive for us since Jr and the late Rick Jr were good friends. But however it got there I think it is a good move, Jr. did not have his heart in racing with Theresa at the head of DEI, now maybe he will show more of his dad's legacy. This will also be a huge boost for Hendrick as Jr. has a much better fan following that both of the Busch brothers put together

The question now is what will become of DEI with Jr. gone? Wonder what Theresa will do now that her main source of income has gone? Not that she would ever have any money worries that is for sure

Good question, Rick and Kyle have said it was mutual but I read a report today that said Kyle didn't know he was gone until Monday. It also sounds like Kyle hadn't been going around and talking to prospective teams either, as it was reported on Wednesday. I don't think Kyle was real happy there and certainly found a lot of things to complain about but I think he will be complaining WAY more with less competitive cars next year. I wonder if he wasn't "strongly encouraged" to pursue other options. I don't really care if he was forced out, he was too ungrateful and not a good teammate as far as information sharing and working for the common good of the whole organization. Because he landed such a prestigious ride right off the bat I don't think he really appreciated what he had there.

Rick honestly have been given rid of Kyle as a results of fact of his attitude. Leaving the race after wrecking at Texas in 2007 enormously plenty did the deal in to swap him with JR. once you bypass away the racetrack at the same time as your vehicle is being labored on via your pit group, this is a extensive slap interior the face on your group and proprietor.

He was forced out. He said he was disappointed. read some of his quotes in his interview today

"It's something I never thought about and never expected," Busch said. "It's disappointing. I didn't really want it to come to this, but it did."

The teams know there is (a pecking order)," Busch said. "We all understand, being at the 5/25 shop, that the 24/48 shop is the powerhouse."

He was forced out. His sponsor was not happy with the way he was conducting himself with th eon camera interviews. Plus with a guy like Jr available,it made the decision a lot easier for hendrick

He was forced out, and thats just wrong, just so Hendricks could have Junior. Well, after this, I WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT JUNIOR, I'll support the rest of the team but after what he did to Kyle, there were no negotiations going on, the jerk LIED! All to get Junior and you know what?? Junior ain't gonna race any better there. Can I throw something at him now? Please?

I'm not sure its all hush hush....But he is leaving and that is all that matters.. I kinda think it had something to do with his attitude. Look..Jimmie, Jeff and Casey are all clean cut well spoken drivers ..Maybe hendrick didn't want somebody who caused a sene almost every week. He is skilled but i heard hendrick say before that attitude counts big too. Don't know...guessing and rambling..

I think he was forced out to make room for Jr. Casey had better watch his back if another big name driver becomes a free agent.
