Here is my logic. I will likely be reported though (these are not my belief just the logic i would use if i were xtian)

1. A fetus is a person, a life that god cares about
2. A fetus is incapable of sin
3. Any person without sin or whose sins have been forgiven will enter heaven
4. Abortion is Murder
5. Murder is a sin
6. We can ask for forgiveness
7. Murderers can enter heaven

Ok I dont think any point on there is refutable by christian beliefs. Here is my logic. If we abort a fetus it will go directly to heaven and the aborter can simply ask for forgiveness. If this life is short and Heaven is eternal i am surprised ALL christians don't have abortions. After all your guarenteeing that your child will live eternally in heaven and you just confess and say your sorry.

OK if the abortor can't ask to be forgiven for an intentional sin does the fetus still go to heaven?
Is abortion REALLY the ultimate sacifice? Sacrifcing your own soul for that of your child

I guess it depends on teh heart, which only God knows.

If you abort with the attitude of, well I'll just pray for forgiveness after and I'll be OK and get out of this responsiblity that I probably brought on myself, then that is not true Godly sorrow, repentence or change.

If you are torn about what to do, abort the baby, then realize/learn it was a mistake and pray for forgiveness and subsequently try not to make that mistake, are truly sorry, etc, then that is true repentence and you can enter heaven.

Repentence isn't just saying you're sorry. It's meaning it, regretting your mistake/sin, asking for forgiveness and changing your behavior and attitude. Matt 22:28-29

I agree with points 1-7 individually. The fetus will go to heaven regardless of whether the aborter does/doesn't can/can't.

To your last point, I can only say that's totally devoid of logic. Killing a baby so it will go to heaven is still killing and intentional (no remorse) at that. To say that that would be a sacrifice to kill the baby so it wil go to heaven and you won't is absurd. You can both go to heaven, so it makes no sense. Jesus' sacrifice was truly a sacrifice because there was no other way. He was perfect and had to die so we all could live. It is just not that way with a mom and baby. Jesus provided the way for us all to go to heaven, so that (your last scenario) would just be condemning yourself to hell, not sacrificing anything.

Original sin is false doctrine an dbaptizing babies is wrong and pointless. Belief and repentence are key in salvation and babies can do neither, so they shouldn't be baptized.
They aren't sinful-Isa. 7:15; Mt. 18:3; 1 Cor. 14:20
The Psalms 51 passage people always cite is poetic and if we take everything literal, then we must believe Job was caring for widows and orphans in the womb (Job 31:18).
Ecc 12:7-God gave us spirit and a perfect sinless God cannot create an innately sinful being.

Hello,

First of all Christianity has its different sects regarding sinning and forgiveness. Some more Calvinist based ones say that when you ar re-born (acknowledge Christ as your savior, get baptised and say the right prayer) you are saved and always saved. In this case the baby has not been born but at the same time he was not offered the chance or education to accept Jesus and what may happen we just don't know. For the one getting the abortion it doesn't really matter and after that she can go out and commit mass murder without any worry about the next life cause Christ promised he who believeth in me will never die.

Most other Christian sects part company there. Abortion is considered a serious sin and if you commit one you must reconcile with God / Christ. Make it a habit though you may have problems (ie go and sin no more.) The sin could be a fetus is a life in development and the trouble you are getting into is you may be interfering in God's plan for a new person.

By the way, when asking for forgiveness you must examine your conscience and be truly sorry for what you did.

Regards,

Michael

A fetus is not a viable human life, therefore no murder has taken place in an abortion.
I believe the correct wording in the 10 Commandments is 'Thou shall not kill', which would apply to a far greater span. It doesn't not say kill what so even stepping on a insect would be a sin under those terms. Or a soldier in a war would be sinning in killing his enemy and therefore condemned.
The idea of sin is a relative term and evidenced by the variable definitions and wide variety of punishments available amoung many religions.
The whole idea that you 'can not sin under any circumstance' but if you do just say your sorry and all is OK is laughable and confirms the idea that god, religion, sin, etc. are all merely creations of man.

I find it rather contradictory that Christians want to claim that the aborted fetus is innocent, yet want to blackmail everyone else with the ridiculous concept known as "Original Sin." It's all irrational, primitive dogma; but if we consider the fetus a human being from the moment of conception...then clearly, it too is stained with "Original Sin." Perhaps new and improved Oxyclean can get the stains out, eh?

Rational thinking, intelligent people know that religion is an outdated grab-bag of myths and superstitions.

artwork turns into arguable whilst it is going against the regular norms. an exceedingly stable occasion may be Gericault's RAFT OF THE MEDUSA that's,probable, the 1st painted artwork of the Romantic era in France. almost the comparable form of reaction got here approximately to Victor Hugo's artwork in France additionally. The regular norms in those 2 circumstances have been customary via Napoleon or his advisors. Napoleon had to creat a Neo-Classical government and needed all the artwork and writing to lower back him up. The severe realism and the subject remember on my own on Gericault artwork and Hugo's writing have been against the norm., seem up Gericault, Hugo, and Jacques David on Google. David's artwork develop into what Napoleon needed, Gericault'w develop into the diametrical opposite.

Our lives are lived, not for us, but to glorify God. How do we glorify God? We follow Him and obey Him.

To us, abortion would not glorify God. Its something we don't think He wants us to do. We believe it's unjust.

Its like saying, "I'm going to murder all of the Christians I know, because maybe they'll turn to atheists some time in future. Right now, if I kill them, I guarantee they'll be in heaven!" Sounds twisted, right? Its not the right way and neither would be the philosophy you presented.

Interesting logic, though.

Two things One, God supports Life and Children are the future to carry on this World. Second, God forgives those who truly repent. If you keep having children and aborting them, how sincere does God think you are? You have to be sincere in your HEART of Hearts...so no way would this work in a World that has God in it. As I always say, free will and choice. So the chldren must live to make those decisions. Thanks and have a great day.

From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

2270
Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person—among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you."

"My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately wrought in the depths of the earth."

2271
Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:

"You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish."

God, the Lord of life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes.

There is no biblical warrant that says any children, born or pre-born, go to heaven.

On the contrary, "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me." (Psalm 51:5)

Abortion prevents the child to make a decision one way or the other. It prevents choice.

Abortion is not murder. Try being raped and then see how you feel about the subject. You have no clue about the real world.
