If Christians are right we will die and go to heaven and the atheists will still die and suffer Forever. What choice would make more sense?

I could point out that Christianity is only one of thousands of other religions, but instead I'll just drink at this badly-worded Pascal's Wager.

A choice based on a falsehood is still false. Atheist know without a doubt what happens to us at death. Christians seem to want to maintain their false, unrealistic hope because of their deep seated fear of death. Atheism is the only 'choice' that makes any sense, the only choice that is logical and rational, the only choice seated in the realm of reality.

You forgot to point out that if Atheists are right then Christians wasted what could have been a beautiful life - wasted it in worship and fear instead of living it to the fullest and seeing the beauty in so many things, like diversity.

Belief is not a choice. If someone came up to you and said they will pay you one thousand dollars if you believe 2+3 = 6 could you do it? Of course not! You can't choose to believe something obviously stupid and ridiculous even if you wanted to.

The fatal flaw of Pascal's Wager is that "there is no god" is NOT the only way the Christian is wrong. There is also the possibility that there IS a god, but it's not YOUR god, but another one.

If Allah is the right god, Christians AND atheists are wrong. Whoops, Pascal's Wager fails.

One can't decide...oh I want to make sure I don't go to hell, so o.k., I'm a Christian...poof...

Just because you say you are a Christian...just because you are baptized...and just because you don't want to go to hell, does not make one a Christian...

You make it sound like one can turn it on, or turn it off....

It is a matter of faith, of reverence, and belief....if you do not have that....you are not a Christian...regardless of what you say...

Did you ever think that maybe intelligent and logical people can't just believe such nonsense?

What if someone said to you "if you don't believe in the holy garbage can, you will go to hell." Are you going to think "wow, yes I believe in the holy garbage can", or are you going to think "this is garbage?"

The first one, because if you apply sense to it, you'd laugh at the second
