I'm fifteen and already I'm in college thanks to an early college/high school program. I know it's a great opportunity and I know that I'm lucky to be in it but I can't handle it. There is too much work, too much stress, and I have to kill myself to get even a C+. I don't want to get out because come on FREE COLLEGE!! But I'm scared for my mental and physical health. I've been depressed and tired, going to school from 8 am to 5 pm hurts. Then the homework. My hair is falling out, my weight is up and down, skin is going crazy. Please help.

This isn't something you should be asking the internet. Your symptoms are real and severe enough you should have already made an appointment with a Psychiatrist to talk about what's going on.

Free College is a great deal, but you only have one body and one mind, and nothing is worth doing irreparable damage to either of those.

It is def. a great opportunity you have in hand right now... I'm still trying to finish college myself! And I'm more than 10 yrs older than you... paying on your own is not so great when you can't afford it!

Well, my sincere advice to you is that you should look into a way that the next semester, you'll manage your time appropriately with the school.

Don't kill yourself! Challenge yourself, take pride in your work, and make time to do it right....

Breathe in life... take it one day at a time.

Make sure you keep at it!!!... I'm sure that it may not seem worth it. It may seem like a dream come true. It even may seem like something you don't want... but, I guarantee whether you want it or not, right now.... DO IT!!!! You loose absolutely nothing!

Balance your life out and learn time management... you've obviously learned how much you can handle, so pace yourself!

Go to the director of this program and tell them what's going on, and see what options you have to be able to handle all these responsibilities in a healthy, and wise way. Maybe cutting down on classes... you shouldn't be expected to conquer all these classes without time for studies...

God gives us one life.... make time for school, studies, family, yourself and friends. A respectable adult will agree and will help you to accomodate things for you!

Good luck!
Be blessed.

You can't have it both ways: either you stay in and destroy your emotional and physical health OR you leave and pay for college when you're ready. College is supposed to be the highlight of your educational life. The memories and friendships last forever. You won't have this if you continue. Sometimes it's difficult to be so advanced academically, but your maturity must catch up to your intelligence. And I mean physical as well as emotional maturity. Talk this over with your parents; I'm sure they don't want you to be so unhappy.
