Providing entrepreneurial opportunity and educational access for Mexican citizens in Mexico.

Cut off their means of employment. Punish the employers that are hiring them. No Job=No Money=What am I doing here? When there is a lot of job opportunity, people that are already here, tell the people that are in mexico that there are jobs, so they come. If there is no jobs they won't come.

Education is fine for them, but a lot of these people are not from the city. They come from the country side, so even some of them don't even have a elementary education, some only make it up to the 3rd grade, then they go to work on the farm.

On top of all this, if the U.S. or Mexico gave money for people to get education there in Mexico, it would be mostly spend by all the corruptness in all levels of government.

The US needs to keep track of and know which employers are hiring and/or in need of an immigrant workforce. Employers wanting immigrant workers from Mexico should go to Mexico and hire them in Mexico. Then it won't be necessary for people to cross the border to look for jobs. Those adults that are hired and there immediate family members should receive documentation to live and work in the US legally.
Employers that want to continue hiring people illegally should be heavily fined and possibly imprisoned. It's them that are making things hard for everyone else.
And last but not least documented workers of 2-5 years should be given citizenship.

First and foremost always retain the fact America is a nation of immigrants who came here illegally.

I think the border states need to work on stabilizing the economy of their southern cities so that illegal immigrants will have a hard time even attempting to find work in those areas (definitely easier said than done). An anlysis should be done on what industries would thrive along the border and capitalize on them immediately.

The concept of strengthening our borders is so broad and improperly branded as American machismo. The best way to approach the issue is to comprehend the nature of illegal immigrantion that exists and establish a connection with Mexico's president on the issue (Central Americans ironically enough actually illegally migrate to Mexico, so they have a similar issue on their hands)

If a program can be established that links up potential employers with potential employees across the border through computer background checks- Mexico and the US could perhaps ensure the temporary visa idea is stable enough to work (offering low cost visas to Mexican immigrants- low costs vs other nations) .

The point of the matter is that, we cannot pretend to be an autonomous nation any more as we compete in the global economy. Mexico produces NUMEROUS electronics and garments that are imported to the US for sale, and it's possible we at some point may require their natural resources.

Another key factor in the border issue is the education of both the US and Mexican government of the needs of the two different societies and economies- Mexico should enlighten the US on what issues plague citizens to cross the border (more extensive research) and the US should explain the threatenened feelings of US citizens on the issue.

Personally though, the issue is being blown out of proportion for party affiliationa dn election purposes (much like the gay marriage issue). Don't get me wrong, illegal immigration is an important concept to consider, but for instance- percentage wise illegal Mexicans pay taxes on a higher and more stable rate than US citizens do as they struggle to obtain citizenship legally and quickly. (They want to be in 'the system' and there's no better way to let the US government know you exist than by going through the IRS) They also (as the old adage goes) work the jobs, the great majority of American's would not like to work at lower costs.

In order:

1. Secure the borders

2. Enforce the current laws on the books. Fund ICE and do the enforcement.

3. Fine the crap out of employers who hire illegals on the first offense, say 10K per illegal hired. 2nd offense 5 years in prison and a 100K fine.

3 Simple Steps

Simple. Build a wall, or fence if need be and SECURE THE BORDER. Our troops are better off here, in their own country, securing the border, rather than in Korea, Afghanistan, etc. For Christ's sake, we need to watch the border and arrest anyone coming in. Deport them immediately. Don't hold them in prison, feeding, clothing, providing free medical treament. We as U.S. citizens know what to do. The President and the Senators who voted for cloture don't. They are working for their own agenda. With the press coverage this bill has received, I think they may now have a clue as to our opinion.

End Anchor Baby Citizens or Spay / Neuter Illegal Aliens apprehended.

Jail CEOs / Business owners who hire illegal aliens and confiscate their profits related to illegal aliens.

Add new courts and judges to process all of the 1.2 million illegal aliens caught each year. Currently, ICE Agents process and release caught immigrants back over the border (so they can try again) and non Mexicans are caught and released into America. We need huge fenced in holding pens to hold every illegal alien caught in our country. Mexicans should be shipped to the Southern tip of Mexico.

Make it illegal for local, state and federal governments to enroll any student, give any welfare benefit or hospitals to treat any illegal alien and to provide blanket immunity to anyone who denies an illegal any benefit from being sued in a court of law.

Impose a very large fine to any business that hires an illegal. No jobs=no illegals.

best strategy? need to let a couple friends of mine go down and "have a talk" with certain high ranking officials in Mexico. it's not so much a migratory flow as it is refugees in flight.
