Wow! I'm in a very similar situation. I use to be 107 pounds and now I'm @ 127 and I also LOVE food.

Currently I'm on a mission to tone my middle section, legs, arm etc. Since March I've been taking care of eating habits (eating slowly and small portions thru the day) and increased my level of daily activity. I've noticed a GREAT change, by simply doing intensive cardio (4x a week/1 hour a day), such as, kickboxing, step aerobics and simply taking a hip-hop class/dance class. Also, as far as my eating habits, I've cut down on the fast-food and frozen meals. I drink plenty of water and have added fruits and vegetables to my daily meals. I'm sure you'll be fine. Not sure what your height is...but you are at a healthy weight...simply toning your body will make a great difference along with a healthy lifestyle.

You've probably heard that diet and exercise go together in losing weight. Without exercise, you can lose a little weight if you're really overweight just by not eating all the extra calories you don't need. But if you're not really badly overweight you will have to starve yourself until your body begins to cannibalize itself, and that's really not good for you. I was never an exercising kind of person myself. But about 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes (and I wasn't really overweight either, I was in the 'yellow zone' on the height/weight chart). The doctor told me I HAD to get some exercise or I could get some terrible 'complications' like blindness, gangrene in my feet, kidney failure, terrible stuff like that. I told him I wasn't an exercising type of person. He said 'Why not just go for a walk? Just get lost in the neighborhood for half an hour'. So I tried it and, believe it or not (the old Me wouldn't have believed it) I really got into walking. I got a pedometer and an MP3 player and within a few months I was up to 3 miles a day, in about 45 min. (not every day, maybe five times a week). I actually look forward to my walks, waiting to hear the next chapter in the audiobook. I lost 25 lbs, then I slacked off and gained back 5 lbs, but I am out of the yellow zone, I'm at the top of the green zone. If I did it, the world's laziest person, you can do it. You just have to get off your big fat butt. Even just half an hour a day of walking can help considerably, you'll see the results right away (maybe two or three weeks).

Don't become overly worried, i weigh 135 and i work out at my daily gym. its true that water will help! and its a great diet whenever you eat to drink water...eliminate soda's unless they have 0 calories! my dad says counting your calories is a great thing to do. The best advice i can give you is to get involved at your daily gym...sign up for daily classes...another great thing to do is to workout at least an hour a day--3 days a week-- if u do this for 21 days (3 weeks) it is proven to become a habit! What i do is stretch, run on the treadmill for 30minutes, stretch again, bike ride (on a stationary bike) for 15 minutes, stretch again, and do stomach exercises i have learned from taking classes and from my dad. fat will not go away fast it takes time, but its time to act on it now, because i am now at my age watching my fat increase because i was not active like i used to be.(as well as watch your calories)

My advice to you for being hungry is don't eat in front of the T.V. because if u eat in front of T.V. everyday your brain and body automatically feels hungry when you are watching T.V. (trust i learned this the hard way and went through the same thing that you are going through now too) But you have got to keep thinking your hungry: limit yourself to Breakfast, snack, Lunch, Dinner, Desert (optional when dieting); also your body wants to eat when you are bored but don't find something to do; go on a walk, walk your dog(if u have one) or play with your cat (if u have one), read a book, call a friend, play a game on the computer, going swimming at the nearest pool; etc. but after you eat your meal do anything you want besides eating more because your not hungry after u eat but your body thinks it is because u gotten used to eating alot or more than u should.
Plus get involved with daily activities/sports/dancing in your community and school! i recently made the dance team and i know that i will burn lots of calories everyday!!
Important: Limit yourself to 1500 calories a day! My dad says "you can't control what u don't count!" so make an effort to count your calories!
And Don't worry about your weight at 130 because that is probably average for a teenager!
if u have anymore questions please feel free to ask and know i will try to help as best i can!

God Bless
and Good Luck
Don't worry I Know You will do Great!

No one can tell you exact answers to these questions since everyone's body responds differently to different diets and exercise plans. That's why you see such a variety of plans with groups of people swearing that each one is the only one that works for them.

So you have to experiment on yourself. Here's a site that I've found very helpful - http://www.fitnessprogramsrevealed.com/

It has a free newsletter and information about ebooks and other resources that will help you with a fitness plan that's right for you.

To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.

Increase fiber. Eat whole grains and brown rice. And eat more slowly. Drink plenty of water during the day, keep away from starches.
