Serve the time. YOu didn't show for court; what were you expecting? Get your missing license replaced, have a good reason for not showing up and throw yourself on the mercy of the court.

It doesn't matter what state you're from...the law requires you to have your license in possession when operating a motor vehicle.
If stopped you may receive a summons for the offense which MOST courts will dismiss once you appear with a valid license in hand.
By disregarding the court appearance...you learned the hard way that the court doesn't tolerate contempt!
What should you do until the next court date? Show contempt of court and leave the house while under arrest and see your new home at jail!
Best wishes.

What exactly did he write you for.
No driver's license in possession or No valid driver's license. Big difference, because if you don't have a valid license, you go to jail. No license in possession, it's a $52.50 fine.
But, either way, you didn't go to court. So expect hefty warrant fees and court costs, even if you can prove you did have a valid DL.

At this point you have few if any options. If the ticket was legit there's no real way to fight it if your local laws require having the drivers license on you while driving.
Not going to court and getting a warrant for FTA probably killed any chance you might have of fighting the ticket.

Don't break the house arrest and show up in court the next time. It's the only thing you can do.

Plead guilty on the failure to appear, because you are. Take a duplicate of your license with you to court and that charge may be dropped.

you could touch the court docket the place the warrant develop into issued, and clarify your project. you will might desire to pay the nice plus one extra nice for 'failure to seem'. they might artwork with you or they might require that your husband look after it whilst he returns from accountability. till this is dealt with, if he's pulled over, he would be arrested as a results of fact the failure to seem warrant will seem whilst the police run his call (since his license is expired).

You missed a court date twice. You deserve the penalty. You were wrong, take some personal responsibility.
