Putting faith in religion doesn't mean putting faith in this preacher. If he's telling you that your marriage (which has no qualities of sin as defined by the Bible) is a sin, I would question the knowledge of this preacher, not religion or God.

Oh Honey,
I am so sorry you are having a hard time getting pregnant, there are few things worse than not being able to have a child when you have a good home to offer it. Also, you priest should be told a few things about love. obviously he does not come from a place of love, or he would not be telling you such lies. Put your faith towards a scientific approach and pray that your God can help the doctors find a way to up your husbands sperm count and give you a chance, and please donn't forget that there are other options out there and it is ok to adopt, I know it is hard to think about not having your own, but if you and your husband have a loving home, what a joy that would bring to a child that needs one. Good luck to you, you have my prayers!

It is not a sin for people of different races to marry. Who do you think created differetn ethnicities? God, of course! If he wanted for us to stay within our race he wouldn't have made them in the first place and everyone would be either Chinese, Mexican or what not. Sounds like you minister is telling you that you not being able to conceive is a punishment from God because you married outside your race. This is not true--this in fact is a medical condition. By the way God created science, he is the master of science and mathematics it is only that there are some people out there who twist things. True science agrees with what God teaches us.

Those species that are not supose to mate can't. Ever seen a cow mate with a horse? Even a dog and cat of the same size can't mate.
Do you believe that God is so challenged that he cannot keep certain things from mating?
Humans were made to be married and together. Now if you said you wanted to live with him and not get married I would have a problem with that. But your married, as one of Jehovah's witnesses we believe that mixed marriages are fine and what God intended for humans. Sounds like your minister is a racist. What you need to do is get another minister.

I am a ordained minister and I would say that the minister that told you this is a bigot. It is not a sin. God made all the people of the earth from one blood, he gave us different types but we all still come from that one blood.
Black people have what is called pigment in their skin, white people don't have any and then there are people who have different amounts of it and that is the only difference, God loves every one of us just the same.
Moses' wife was black.

Not a sin.
If you were from different cultures, I would warn you against marriage because there are so many issues that need to be ironed out that it imposes an undue strain on marriage.
But if you're from the same culture, (i.e. American culture) you won't have any problems that any other couple wouldn't have, except acceptance from society in general.
That is, if you live in an area where racial prejudice is strong, you'll feel the brunt of it, and you'll have to be a strong team with each other to bear up under it.

God is not partial nor prejudice, the only restriction with marriage is man and woman and "only in the lord".
I have lots of friends and family that are in mixed marriages, they all have children.
James 1:13 states "When under trial, let no one say: "I am being tried by God." For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone."
Maybe this minister needs to read his bible. Or perhaps, you could share these thoughts with him.

no it is not a sin. when I first got married, my late husband and I talked about that same thing. if we had children and they came home with a black man, if it was our daughter or a black lady that my son brought home. we would ask them one question and one question only. and that question is. do you love one another? if they say yes, then we would except that person into our home and life. if you love one another that is all you need. black and whites make the most beautiful children. I know this couple she was black and he was white and they had a son, he was so beautiful. also that was very rude for this minister to say to you, he had no right saying that.

What a CREEP!
That "minister" of yours needs a big glass of "shut the hell up!" :0)
Don't let the rantings of one ignorant fool ruin religion for you- there's always going to be loonies like him in the world. You have to learn to ignore them and remember that they are the minority, NOT the majority.
I hope you get pregnant ASAP! :0)
