3. Ground Zero - not really an attraction, but please, pay honor and respect to the victims if you are in the area.
4. Statue of Liberty
5. Brooklyn Bridge
6. Any Broadway show - Wicked is HIGHLY recommended.
7. Anything on Fifth Avenue - lots of window shopping
8. ToysRUS/FAO Schwarz
9. Central Park
10. Rockefeller Plaza
Places not a lot of people know about:
1. Tony's Pizza on 43rd
2. There are still a lot of nice areas in Harlem
3. Take the train up to Queens and walk around - lots of mom and pop shops
4. Chinatown
5. The docks - really cool to see fishing boats come in
6. Farmer's markets - all over the place
7. NYPD - just cool to see the station you see in the movies!!!

You should see, first of all, the statue at Battery Park. You should also visit The Museum of Natural History, The MOMA (Museum of Modern Art, there's a free day) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Empire State Building is great, and don't forget Fao Schwartz and Toys 'R Us. Of course, the Times Square and the wax museum Madame Tussauds. You can't leave New York without taking a walk at the Central Park and going to a play in Broadway. Enjoy the New York pizza and, if you have time, you can visit the zoo.

Definitely the Museum of Natural History and the planetarium. Oh and do enjoy the food!...Get a cheesecake from Juniors and you have to have New York style pizza...go to the Empire State building...the trump tower...FAO Schwartz ...site of the twin towers...central park. Rock Center....the zoo....take a ferry across river to Ellis Island.

Definitely the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It'lltake a few days. Hop over to Newark and check out the Liberty Science Center ... They also have an IMAX there.

yankee stadium is awesome- see it before it is replaced
little italy- eat! mange!
bronx zoo is a good zoo if u like that stuff...
central park is nice to hang out...
the MET is probably worlds greatest museum
etc!
