look in your phone book for local orthodonists...or ask your dentist for a referral being that they work with some orthodontists communicating back and fourth with one another to discuss treatment plans ex. you need a cavitiy filled before he puts on braces or other treatments before procedure

I would get a phone book and visit as many as I can and choose the one I feel most comfortable/confident about.

Make sure you actually get one that does the orthodontics adjustment/wiring/monthly appoint him/herself, NOT THE ASSISTANT. That makes a HUGE difference. Those offices where assitants do the monthly adjustment are really bad, they are only in for the profit because only the doctor does the final check at the end. Those ones are to be avoided at all cost.
