You will never automatically have a pregnancy as a result of sex. But, with procreation being one of the main purposes of sex (the unitive aspect is the other). You simple cannot even begin to fulfill that pourpose between two people of the same sex.

Yes, sex between a man and a woman can lead to pregnancy, but besides pleasure, that is basically the intention...to populate. Homosexual sex is also alright, but according to nature, it shouldn't be the only sex of choice, just as it really shouldn't be with heterosexuals either. Sex is sex, and if one needs to "get it off", what difference does it make which "one" you do it with, even yourself...there's too much religion, and unnecessary "rules" of choice, in this society masquerading out there as some kind of written (or unwritten) law(s) telling us what we can and cannot do with our sex lives....basically, it should be more balanced. It's too lopsided, one way AND the other...

Only way you can do it is if the man and woman are married for when God created the earth and made Adam and then said adam needed a helper he took a rip from Adam and made Eve then made them 1 flesh. And see the only way a man and a woman can have sex is if their 1 flesh, and homosexuality does not count, that is against God. But to get married and do it is following Gofd's command.

Getting pregnant is a good thing...not a bad thing. Abortion is a bad thing. Homosexuality is a perversion of that which sex was created for...procreation!
Not getting pregnant via homosexual acts or masturbation is not the answer to lowering abortions.
Understanding God's gift of sex within marriage for the purpose of procreation is the way to stop abortion. Children are not a disease to be avoided...they are people, they have a right to life. If you do not want babies...do not have sex until you are married and ready to start a family. That's not impossible...I did it.
My daughter is 21 years old and engaged. She and her fiance are waiting until marriage to have sex. Guess what...neither of them has to worry about pregnancy, or abortion...because abstinence takes care of both.

Sex between two of the same sex is wrong and also against Gods will! If you don't want to get pregnant, You use protection or don't have sex! When have you ever seen two animals of the same sex mating? Does this tell you anything? They have more brains then some humans!

Lets say if everyone chose to be gay from this day forward. In one hundred years are so the World would have zero human beings. Because no babies would be born for one hundred years straight. It's not the norm to have babies without heterosexual sex. It's obvious you believe that having a baby is a bad thing to do. If having a child was such a bad thing you wouldn't be here today. I'm not homophobic I'm simply answering your question. If someone is gay or straight more power to them. Homosexuality is no more 'unnatural' than people with red hair. There has been homosexual sex ever since the beginning of recorded history. There is nothing more 'wrong' with being gay than there is with being left-handed.
You are putting forth an odd argument, one that I can't really disagree with (gay sex does not lead to pregnancy). I'd like to take your thought and build on it.
The fact that gay sex doesn't lead to pregnancy makes a strong case for gay men or lesbians to be parents. Why? Because you have to really WANT a child if you are lesbian/gay. There is zero 'oops' factor. How many people are running around on this earth simply because their parents were too horny to use birth control? How many pregnancies began without intention? How many women, upon learning they were pregnant, uttered the words, "Oh Sh*t!!!" ? Gay men and lesbians make great parents. They study the subject of parenting. They are ultra prepared for the child.
This is something I don't hear very often, and just wanted to put it forth.

Though I like the way you think, those Christians (specifically you Catholic folk) believe that sex is only for procreation. Thus, they'd want children to be born. Can't have children in a homosexual relationship. No procreation = sin. (all assumptions are married couples only.. again.. no gays... another no no)

One of God's greatest gifts is sex, and it was meant for it to be only between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24), and its a great gift, as long as we don't abuse it. You're saying that its alright to have sex with a same sex partner just so you won't get pregnant, yet fulfill your "necessities". First of, the purpose of sex is to reproduce. All other misuses of sex are abominable to God, including same sex marriage, masturbading, pornography, adultery, etc.
