I am getting married Aug. 31, 2008. I can't find a place that is affordable that I like. Anyone know of a country club or a pretty church that you do not have to be a member. I would love to get married outside or atleast have the wedding and the reception at the same place. But right now I open for anything. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi! I am also from Richmond...I've found sever places but I'm not sure what your price range is. You could try these places:
West End Manor Civic Association: Saturday $1,200
Montpelier Center for Arts & Education: Saturday $1,200
Hanover Arts: Saturday $1,300 (I really like this place and you can have an outside wedding there too.)
Columbian Center on Pump Rd.

Richmond has a botanical garden where you can do the wedding outside and reception inside.

If not look at the local parks, alot of have gorgeous places outside and a hall you can rent.
