Help me interpret this dream, please!?

Question

I had an odd dream last night I NEVER have bad dream, I mean only like 3 ever in my life and I dream A LOT! In my dream I was with my whole family and we were going to a funeral so we were all dressed in black. I was holding my niece who is 1 but in the dream she was a lot smaller than she is now. I dropped her and she fell on her face on the gravel parking lot. I picked her up and it had really deformed her face and she died. I didn't notice it at first until my family had pointed it out. The dream really scared me since I never have dream like this. What could this mean?

Family members in dreams often represent different aspects of oursevleves, not always necessarily our literal family.
They can represent out natural family, our spiritual family, a job, a group of people that we think of as family... as well as different aspects of ourselves and personality represented by the people we are dreaming of. (it depends on the context of the dream).

Just an opinon...

going to a funeral.... represents a part of your life etc that is over or ending. (death is an end).
You're coming to terms with the loss of this as you are on your way to a funeral. ( coming to a closure on this issue.)

your neice? a baby. you are holding her..... ?
((perhpas your neice in the dream represents a person in your life, or an issue that you are "carrying," (struggling with) that you want a fresh start in, a new beginning.

babies represent a new beginning, a new idea or dream or something birthed that has come into fruition.
This is reiterated by your neice being one year old, but younger in your dream. the number one represents new beginnings; first in time or rank. a starting over.
therefore...... its a new beginning/new idea/"dream" that has not quite matured into being ready...... your starting over (holding your neice) but shes younger than she is naturally meaning your 'starting over' hasnt quite come to the full maturity that it needs to be in order for you to begin again.
You drop her = you let go of it.
She falls onto the gravel road face-first:
a gravel road represents words; it also represents a way. (spritual path) God's way.
Her face is now deformed and she dies.
something about what was said about your "new beginning/dream etc" deforms or warps your thinking it is possible.
The Face represents the heart. i.e., your heart is broken, and your dream dies.
you dont notice that (? your neice's face is deformed and she's dead?) until your family points it out?
you've allowed that dream and or new beginning that you want for yourself to die,
your family points it out.... perhpas that part represents the negativity of people in your life concerning that dream or beginning or whatever to cause it to fall, or you to let go of it.
also, insecurity concerning that particular area.

Your dream could be pointing out things which your are pouring into your niece's life which could cause her downfall later down the road. Check what kind of things you are pouring into her life and what kind of example you are living before her. You holding her symbolizes you being like a covering to her, but dropping her also symbolizes that there was a point where you did not cover her. As a result, your niece felt the impact of whatever decision you made to drop her. Overall, the deformed face represents a change in your niece's character which is "twisted" and will lead to her downfall down the road.

i dont think it has anything to do with your niece at all. this all has to do with you. i've had dozens of dreams about people dying and about my nieces/ babies. it could possibly mean, as previously stated, there is a decision you will have to make it is small (represented by the size of your niece) but it could have an impact on you that you wont notice. it is probably something you care about very much as it is your niece that you drop. see the description below- i think this is definately your mind telling you about a change that has or will happen that you need to be very careful with.

Funeral
