As a dentist myself it sounds like you have an abscess on your hands. An infected tooth, or abscess as they are called are extremely painful and will need antibiotic therapy. PLEASE see a Dentist or take a trip to your local ER as soon as possible as this CANNOT be fixed on its own and there are NO home remedies that will cure this tooth, you need a dental professional immediately. Antibiotics and pain medication that the Doctor will prescribe will eventually help the tooth become less infected but once you stop antibiotics the infection WILL return and is usually much more painful the second time around. Infection from an abscess tooth can spread to the throat causing an airway obstruction and can spread to the heart and brain and cause very severe problems and sometimes fatal complications. PLEASE see a dentist in your area to discuss treatment as this can become extremely painful. Try taking Motrin (ibuprofen) for pain, this will help reduce swelling and will also help control pain. Also try using COLD compresses, do NOT use heat as this can cause the infection to worsen and spread and become more painful. Please see a dentist or ER physician ASAP. Good luck!

Once a tooth becomes infected, there is no "home remedy" to take care of it. Only a dentist can relieve the pressure by opening the tooth and giving you the antibiotics needed to clean up the infection. My advice, see your dentist as soon as possible. Good luck!

There is no "good" home remedy for infected teeth. Once they're infected, it's long past time to see the dentist. It may need to be extracted by the time it's infected. These infections are as serious as any other infections and need to be treated with care. Infections can be dangerous.

There isn't one.
The infection will just keep getting WORSE until you get an antibiotic. If you wait too long, they will have to remove the tooth!

Swish with hydrogen peroxide. It works like a charm! Of course, you still need to see a dentist, but the peroxide will take care of the infection and pain in the meantime. And of course, don't swallow!

Seriously, if your tooth is infected, it most likely will abscess. This is really painful and if not treated will kill you. SEE A DENTIST!
