I had a dream the other night, that I owned a house on the beach that had a driveway that led around to a garage that faced the beach. I was standing in the garage looking out at the beach, and a gigantic wave came hurtling at the shore.
While standing there in awe looking at this mile high tsunami, I felt frightened and nearly paniced. My brother was on the beach, I screamed for him to come into the garage. As the wave approaced the tide withdrew and I could see the ocean floor a mile out from where there would normally be water.
The view was amazing. The wave continued to surge toward the shore, and eventually the wave crested over the top of the house, and the sky was blocked out by this gigantic tsunami wave going over the top of the house.
Just as the bottom of the wave made it to my garage the wave broke over the top of my house and my house did not collapse.
My brother and I were saved, but when we went to inspect the damage to the city everything was dead and destroye

I am glad you asked that question because I have had that kind of dream many times in my life. It is awe inspiring and I have tried to interpret it myself with little result. In my dream, once the inescapable wave engulfed me the dream ended. I think, for me, the dream is spiritual in content and means that we all must die, and when the universe comes to claim us in the form of a wave we should not have fear because from the ocean came all life and from the ocean new life will always reappear. The Greeks called it the transmigration of the soul. It gives me comfort to believe that.
