what abilities one must possess to start a career in information and communication technology.how can judge myself to know my passion?i want to opt for that field in which i have passion.please help me to know myself.what does info and comm. field basically involves?

Hi, Parul - You should have a better idea than anybody here what sort of things you are most interested in. As to your question, I would expect that IT and communication tech. would involve a great deal of electronics/computer work, so you would probably want to have a great deal of patience and a high tolerance for frustration. Of course, these traits are useful in most fields - as are an ability to express yourself clearly and hear what people are saying (as opposed to just hearing the words they are using). Careful and accurate work and the ability to find problems by going step by step will also be useful. Don't think you have to make the perfect career choice right now, either - you're not going to be stuck with what you initially choose if you find that it's not to your taste. Changing careers is not always easy, but it's usually much easier than staying in a career you don't like. So, if you start in IT and then later find that you have a passion for flying airplanes, you should still be able to do that instead.
