If your skin is damaged while getting a tattoo, it will likely not heal correctly and the tattoo can become distorted and not look good. If you're going to have ink on your skin for the rest of your life, it's worth it to wait another week or 2. Good luck!

Your skin should be in best condition when receiving a tattoo. The dark isn't a problem, but the dry is. Be sure to lotion very well for a couple weeks, maybe even loofa. then go for your tat.

Wait until your body, especially your skin, is in tip top shape before you get any sort of body art done. It will ensure the quickest and most successful healing possible.

you should wait unit your back heals. i watched my friend get a tattoo, and her skin was pretty bad for a week after. so if u have a tattoo on top of your skin problem, then it will be VERY painful. to help your skin heal faster, rub vitamin-E gel into it. it works GREAT!!

hello,

i would suggest waiting around 2 weeks, to let your skin settle down, apply a LOT of moiturizer, keep you skin clean, to prepare it for the tattoo.....i miean, you could get the tattoo now, but that might upset your skin and make it more painful

use a lotion for extra dry skin....if you are peeling from a sun burn they wait until you stop. I would use lotion from a good week before getting a tattoo though.

dry skin won't make any difference really. just use some moisture lotion for a couple weeks before you get your tatt.

As long as you don't have sunburn, it will be fine.
