1. Yes, Jesus died for our sins. But if you choose not to believe in Him, you're rejecting that gift. One has to realize the depth of our sin and height of God's holiness to understand what an amazing gift we are given. But its not yours until you take it in.
2. By whose measure are you good? If its by your measure, I'm sure you're a good person. However, God didn't create us to be "pretty good." His measure is perfection. He measures us by His standards. And we fall mightily short of that, which is why He provides, in Jesus, the grace we need to be seen as righteous before Him. We are not good by His standards - as Jesus said, only God is good.
3. God gives us every opportunity to be forgiven. I don't understand how you could say He's not being forgiving...after all, He is willing to forget EVERYTHING you've done (even murder!), if you just accept His forgiveness. The forgiveness is there and it is plentiful...its up to you if you want it or not.
4. A godly life is not about saying "I told you so." Its about living for His glory. And its a wonderful life - one with meaning and purpose. Its one about love, not condemnation, which seems to be what you are implying.
My question to you is, "why would God let you in Heaven if you don't want any part of Him?"
Its our choice. Its always been our choice.

That is what most christians said. I wonder if that is the so-called great love of God.
I have heard that Jesus died for our sins. His blood was shed for us. His blood fulfills the righteous requirement of God. Hence, my interpretation for this is: the death of Jesus is to bring us back to God.
Whether going to heaven or not, it is still another story. The reason is, it is NOT your outward performance that count. It is your heart that counts.
As far as I know, a heart with clear conscience is close to heaven. A heart without any greed of anything of this world is close to heaven.
It is your heart that brings to heaven. Or may be we have also heard of something like "the heaven is today"
The real heaven is not after life. We should realize that the real heaven is now.

The Bible says that no one can be good enough to make it to Heaven, if we could, then Jesus would have died for nothing. It takes more than just believing in God also because the Bible says that the Devil and his demons believe in God and they even tremble. God's Word says that if we turn from our sins and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then God will save you.
Don't get mad at me. I did not make up the rules. God did.

No God won't let you into Heaven if you didn't believe in Him. God is perfecty fair..He must judge all people the same. How would you react if a criminal was not punished because the judge decided to let him off?? You'd call him corrupt. This is why God has to punish sin..if He didnt he wouldnt be perfect and just.
The only to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ, nothing else.
God bless

as heaven is a place of holiness, purity and love no-one can enter unless he is as pure as God who is all knowing, all seeing, all powerful and everywhere all at once. to make it possible for us to have eternal life he sent His Son Jesus to earth in the form of a man. when Jesus died on the cross he interceded for us to His Father to forgive us. He agreed to carry out God's plan to make this possible by taking on Himself the punishment we ourselves deserve. Every sin that man had and would commit was put on Christ on the cross. He was also scourged for the sins we commit. ThenHe went to hell in our place when he died. Importantly, He came alive again, proving the power of sin could not destroy him, and therefore us if we accept, by faith, the sacrifice He made out of His love for mankind. As no man is righteous our only hope of heaven is accepting by faith God's plan which made this possible, the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus. When we accept this assurance of heaven we can live in hope for our future. There is life beyond this one, and it will be wonderful.
As far as the mass murderer is concerned; if he is overwhelmed by guilt and is genuinely remorseful over his actions and seeks to make amends, he can, through faith in Jesus, ask to be forgiven and reconcilled to God; and will be . no-one is rejected. Sin separates us from God; He is always there but sin means we are unable to feel His presence. Jesus is the bridge between us and God. He went ahead of us to prepare the way to heaven. This is why He said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life no-one can come to the Father except through Me.
God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that who ever believed in him will have eternal life John 3.16 - this is a promise, guaranteed.
I do hope this has been helpful and you will be blessed. God bless.
Sorry you had a question pulled; dont forget the deveil also works through man and will do anything to stop people hearing about God's plan to save mankind.

God is a gentleman and doesn't force Himself on anyone. If you don't accept His forgiveness, that means YOU chose to reject heaven and forgiveness. He's waiting with open arms in His kindom that He created. If you don't believe in God, then why would there be a heaven?
Its like this: Jesus stands at the door and knocks. If you open the door, He will come in and dine with you. How's he supposed to come in if you don't open the door?
All roads lead to God, but only one leads to heaven and that is through Jesus.

Four Things God Wants You to Know
1. You Need To Be Saved
"Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"There is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
"We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags." (Isaiah 64:6)
2. You Cannot Save Yourself
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us." (Titus 3:5)
"By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." (Galatians 2:16)
"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 2:10)
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12)
3. Jesus Has Already Provided For Your Salvation
"Who [Jesus] his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness." (1 Peter 2:24)
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God." (1 Peter 3:18)
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
4. Jesus Will Enable You to Overcome Temptation
"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished." (2 Peter 2:9)
"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Your Part:
1. Repent (Turn from your sins)
"Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)
2. Believe
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts 16:31)
3. Do It Now
"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near." (Isaiah 55:6)
"Behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:2)
"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?" (Hebrews 2:3)
4. Remember
"Every one of us shall give account of himself to God." (Romans 14:12)
"It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews9:27)
"But he that believeth on him...shall not come into judgment." (John 5:24)
"Choose you this day whom ye will serve." (Joshua 24:15)

No, not at all.
Would you give someone all your money, your life, your friends, and everything you have if they didn't know you, but knew a friend of yours?
To get into heaven you need more than believing, you need to live the life God requires. AND, if you believe in Jesus, you probably believe in God as well. But as I said, believing is not enough, you must practice the christian walk. Walk the Talk (unfortunatly most christian fail to do this)

If you don't believe in God then why is this even a question? If you truly didn't believe then you truly wouldn't be concerned. This is also not a question anybody can truly answer because nobody knows. Nobody has been to the "other side" and back to let us know what is there or what will happen.
