Ahhh, I'm a pop-a-holic, too. LOL I completely cut it out of my diet and drink water with a few drops of lemon juice in it when I'm thirsty.
As for the junk food, keep healthy snacks on hand. Carrot sticks, cut up fruit, a bowl of grapes in the freezer, raisins, yogurt, trail mix, etc etc. Put them all in a very accesable location such as the front of the fridge or the front, lower shelves of your cabinets so they're easy to grab. Then, hide the junk food in hard-to-reach spots. Have any cabinets above the fridge? That's a good spot! Shelves in the basement make it a chore to go after the junk food.
Do you often snack during specific things, such as watching TV or reading books? Again, keep healthy snacks on hand, chew gum or gnaw on a pencil.
Also, drinking lots of water will fill you up!
Good luck!

you have to slowly phase it out with healthier options. Pick the junk food you CAN'T live with out and then eat only one portion a day, and then have another healthy food standing by that you can snack on (carrots, bell pepper, etc) that you always know you can turn to if you get hungry.
For soda, limit to one regular 12 oz soda a day, and then drink diet the rest of the time. You should really limit it though...replace it with juice or milk or something healthier.

drink a lot of water! and switch to fruits to satisfy your sweet tooth. And if you really have a craving for icecream or something, portion yourself. order the smallest size or only have one scoop at home! your body will thank you for it. That stuff only tastes good for the 5 mins your eating it, but the impact it will have on your body will last a lot longer then that! and its swimsuit season, why would you want to do that to your self?! haha

Start realizing that fruits and other stuff tastes good but isn't bad for you.
Force yourself not to eat junk food.

Wear an elastic band around your wrist 24/7, and give it a big ol snap everytime you do start to do something that you know you'll feel guilty about later. It'll hurt, but it'll feel better than obesity.
