Supposed you liked this boy who already knows you like him. On the night of the dance, you have a friend ask him if he would like to slow dance with you and he says yes right away. However you shy up and have her tell him that you can't dance with him and he says nothing. Then he dances with another girl. So does this mean he doesn't like you?

Not necessarily. It may mean that he does want to dance, and the present time, it doesn't really matter who..simply because (maybe) the dance doesn't really matter to him much. Perhaps he has no sentiments for the dance and is just there because whether or not it means anything to him, the school dance is still the school dance. Well, another way to look at is like this...He didn't force anything because he probably figured out that you got shy, and he didn't want to force the matter. He could also be a little tricky and thought he might just make you jealous instead, and maybe you'll suck it up and ask him to dance yourself, or beat yourself up for shying up and do better next time. There are boys who try to be cool or act nonchalant. It really depends on who this boy is. It isn't your problem, though.. So don't beat yourself up over this. Just learn to be more confident and sure of who you are, so that you'll never have to tell yourself you missed a chance or what. :)

It's impossible to know for sure. Look at it from his perspective: He could be wondering if you dislike him a little bit since you decided not to slow dance with him. He could've been feeling a little bit rejected, so he tried to forget about it by dancing with another girl. Don't worry there's always another chance and if he doesn't like you there are plenty more guys in the world.

NO... is this happened 2 u then that wuz a BAD decision...ok when guys are at a dance and they know that someone likes them and then askes them to dance and she says she wont dance with him the guy isnt going to try to play catch the girl and try to make her dance all night he would just find a girl that will dance with him...............................
