I'm from the mainland originally but even in NC we loved spam,. In Hawaii when I lived there I learned to love it for breakfast with eggs and rice. served on loaf bread with a fried eggs, ketchup and mayo, as spam Musabi, diced and served in omelets, stir fried. Hawaii by the way is the number one consumer of spam. I've added a few links on the many ways to eat spam, some my favorites.

i live spam. When I was there I got a spam treat at ABC store. I believe it had rice and something else and it was great. Not snacks like that on the mainland. Just junk food here

I love Spam but I don't eat it that much b/c it's very fattening! Hawaiians do eat it way too much these days, that's why they get FAT easily. When I'm in the mood to eat Spam, i have it in the morning with rice & eggs. I actually place slices of it on a rack & put it in the oven to make it nice & crispy. It's a lot better than frying it. I'm not too fond with fried foods.

I'm on Kauai.

I'm not a big fan of Spam, though I don't mind it if it's cut up really small in my saimin.

My son loves Spam musubi, cold Spam sandwiches, Spam and eggs, and Spam dogs!

I love SPAM! I lived on Oahu as a child, and have vacationed on Kauai a few times as an adult.
Slice it up, raw (or fried) with mayo on Wonder Bread, with a slice of cheese.
SHUT UP!
Diced up and fried, then mix it in with a batch of mac and cheese. Sprinkle fresh diced tomatoes and onions on top, with a dash of garlic powder. Yum yum!
SHUT UP!
Instead of ham with eggs in any way you can think of.
Scrambled eggs, onion, cheese, taters, and lots of SPAM all fried up in a big ole cast iron skillet. The ultimate camp out breakfast!
About 50 cans of it smooshed together and molded into Radar's "SPAM Lamb". With mint jelly!
SHUT UP!!!!...
Bloody Vikings!
PS. Looking for a way to get back to K-Bay permanently. Although the Old Lady would prefer Hanalei Bay, Kauai.

I like it sliced thin like bacon it comes out crispy, have it with pancakes, hash browns.

Cut in strips it goes well in fried rice or sometimes put it in pad thai. Also good with saimin, along with some kim chee.

Not a fan of musubi though.

I always eat spam. Grilled w/ scrambled eggs, on toast w/ ketchup, cut up in saimin, Spam musubi, spam boiled w/ cabbage. My mom said if not for spam, Vienna sausage, canned tuna, and corned beef, lots of folks wouldn't have eaten in WWII in Hawaii. I still keep some for emergencies. Oh yeah, one more w/ protugees sausage, tomato sauce, beans, carrots, and potatoe like a soup.

I love spam in my musubi, cubed in my fried rice, or just pan fried with ketchup and hot rice!

But only the original or the less sodium one.....not the flavored ones....yuck!

I'm on Oahu.
