I'm 13 and I am trying to lose weight. I am gonna try andburn 700 calories a day. i was gonna do, 1400 calories a day and burn 700 and have a 300 calorie deficit. but thats not enough....shoyuld i cut down to 1200 and no lower cuz i know that would be unhealthy? so if i cut down to 1200 and burn 700 that would be a....500 deficit for me. is that too dangerous or what? btw, im trying to lose 20 pounds in 2 months, 10 pounds per month.

do you think i should keep eating 1400 calories and burn 700? would that be enough to lose 10 pounds in a month? or should I go down to 1200 and still burn 700 calories?

I want to know if cutting down to 1200 and burning 700 would be too dangerous or something. I am trying to at least lose 2 pounds per week

if you can subtract 500 calories a day, then a week will be about a pound of weight loss. I would go for the 1200 and burning 700 for a quicker results. As long as you eat healthy foor made for using energy you can eat about 1200 and still be healthy

you should consume between 1200 and 1500 daily for the avg adult. Kids need more 1500 to 2000.

make sure you are exercising within reason every day 20-30 mins and cut down your fats/sugars.

you will lose, but healthy weight loss is no more than 2 pounds per week.

Keep in mind that the second ten pounds will be alot harder to lose than the first ten pounds. Also if you start to feel faint or dizzy it could be your blood sugar dropping. Take some juice immediately.

I think this sounds fine, without realizing it I tend to eat only 1000 calories a day at age 14. We don't even keep soda at my house and I hate fast food unless subway counts as one.
