he has to kids a 13 year old and a 14 year old even though they are teen's i think its wrong that he goes to work then to his girl friends house all night and sometimes comes home for a few minutes. he leaves them without money and they usally have no food.. is there anything i can do abotu this or should i just stay out of it"? i just feel bad this kids have to live like this and be hungry and stuff.

it aint like they have NO food but they have very little and never any milk or anything i used to go over there alot but now i dont because i just think its dumb how it is

this guy gets alot of money from his job and other stuff for taking care of them but none of it seems to go towards that im not sure what he does with it

You can call the Department of Social Services from a pay phone and anonymously report them. DSS will investigate and make certain that the children are cared for.

Yes it's illegal! It's called neglect! Those poor kids!
Call Social Services and report him. In some states, you can file the complaint on the Social Services website. I did this on the Missouri site. I had a reply a within an hour!
Do a search on www.metacrawler.com for Department of Social Services and find your states site.

It's abandonment if there is no food, money or other things for them to be taken care of.
Call the department of children and families in your area and report him.
Sometimes you have to step up and make a stand on behave of children who have bad parents.
Another suggestion, take some food over to the kids if you can. Even if it's boxed mac and cheese and a pack of hotdogs. That way it cant be said you are trying to harm his kids.

you can call child protective services annonymously and have them check on the kids. It is not illegal for a 13 and 14 year old to stay home alone, although it is illegal for them to live alone so as long as the father comes homes and provides the legal necessities (food, shelter, heat, water, etc.) there is really nothing you can do. Personally I would call CPS just to have them check in, it doesnt hurt anything if your wrong.

You should definatly call child services. Only if your sure that the kids arnt being taken care of properly. That age is old enough to stay home alone ( Probably not for that long though) but if they dont have any food then it is neglect.

this is a shame if the children are not phissivcally being abused u should stay out of it i was also 11 i and my mom left me for like 4 days no calls we had no lights no food not really more then ramon noodles sometimes running water no furniture
but someone reported us to dhs and my life has been messed up ever since
i just had a baby and still dont know what to do with my life now

At 13 and 14 they are old enough to be alone. How do you know for sure they have no food? My kids would say there was no food if they were out of chips and soda. As for not giving them money- I didn't hand out money to my kids.
How do you know where he is?

This is neglect and abuse. Even though they are teens, they are unable to fend for themselves in terms of making money, buying food, etc.
Report him . He needs to provide food as well as shelter.
You can report anonymously. Call local law enforcement and ask how to proceed.

You can call child services anonymously. There is nothing worse than sitting at home hungry. Even though they are early teens, it is still very wrong.

YEAH this is illegal... since you know what is going on its up to you to help out these kids. You could call social services and stay anomynous... come on its illegal in some states to have your dog leashed up for more that 2 hrs.... and what that guy is doing is worse! dont stay out of it... that is how kids start to steal, join gangs, get pregnant, do drugs ect.......
