If you would like to understand Revelation, I would suggest reading the book that explains all of the symbolism John wrote. It can be found for free at the website below.

No. Because there have been so many times that the Gaza Strip has had problems, but if you do believe in end time prophecy the anti-Christ will make a seven year peace with Israel and violate it in the 3rd year and that has not happened yet. But just because death is some where else be mindful of yourself and those around you because you may focus on the time and the hour and not see what is coming at you.

The BOOK of REVELATION (no "s") documents world events; John was commanded to write about the past, present, and future. Since the Rapture of the church has not taken place yet, then we are not yet at Chapter 4 of the Book, much less the end of it.
Matthew 24:1-8 tells us of the signs to watch for which indicate the BEGINNING of sorrows. These are the things of which we read in our current headlines. Luke 21:9 says, "...but the end is not (yet)..."

Of course not. It's just the newest chapter of all the infighting going on in Palestine, which is absolutely nothing new. It could possibly mean that Hamas controls the Strip, and Fatah controls the West Bank, potentially resulting in two Palestines... it might also mean that Israel and the rest of the world will again continue working with the Fatah government and ignore the Hamas government, possibly demonstrating to these people which route will work best for them in the end--being a reasonable moderate or being a psychotic hardliner. We'll see, I guess.

nicely, how approximately tossing out a hypothetical too... The UN created the well-liked State of Israel... Vatican city is termed a u . s . or perhaps has their very own 'military' (the Swiss shield, i think of). So... What if the UN declared Jerusalem, even according to hazard all of Israel, as an earthly u . s . (i.e., no longer especially concerning to faith or to a non secular physique) and moved the UN headquarters there in the present day. it can be a spectacular latest to the international, probably lots extra according to the collective Jewish, Christian and Muslim techniques of God. i do no longer and can't declare to 'know God's will' yet i stumble on it difficult to swallow that the collective God could be overjoyed approximately 3 substantial religions scuffling with over what all of them agree is a "Holy Land". additionally, it merely can furnish the UN and the UN Peacekeeping forces lots extra credibility in the event that they had placed themselves into that 'warm spot' and artwork to ascertain the subject concerns there. I lived in Louisville, KY, interior the 70's whilst effective Park had an extremely extreme crime fee... until the police precinct station replaced into moved to the park. ok... probable a stupid theory, yet according to hazard no longer too lots sillier than some i've got seen in modern days. quite those that have proposed nuking the completed region, turning it into glass.

The book of revelations is mythology. You can compare current events to any book of mythology and see parallels. That doesn't mean the book has any real relation to what is going on in the world. What it means is that human beings have an enormous capacity to see parallels, analogies, metaphors in thier minds. Its part of our intelligence. Don't get that mixed up with the idea that someone 2000 years ago could write about what would happen in the world today other than "in general".

I think we are seeing the beginning of the end times - starting with the return of the Jews to Israel in 1947 (or 1948?). That was the triggering event in my opinion that signaled the beginning of the end times. Armageddon is just north of there (if I'm not mistaken) just over the Lebanese border.

I wish I had a nickel for every time this was suggested in the last 100 years.

To be totally honest with you, you will not understand what the prophecy is referring to until after (and most likely, long after) the events have occurred.

Matthew 24

Signs of the End of the Age

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. "Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."
As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"

Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the BEGINNING of birth pains.

We're just getting started friend....
