I'm not fat, about size 8, but my hips are really big compared to my waist and i just look out of proportion.

I'm 5"4 and i weigh around 8 and half stone, i was a bit shocked by this, is that quite alot for a person of my height?

An also, how can i jus slim down my stomach and thighs, i already do lots of walking! What foods should I / not eat ?? i really want to lose weight please help !!

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

exercise, take yoga, stretch, relax, and go to a gym. and eat rite!

don't eat fatty, unhealthy foods like fast food or junk food. eat healthy food full of protenin. it can give u more energy and replace nutruients tat u mite work out.

just eat rite, go to the gym and if you build MUSCLE than its great cause u look betta even though u mite weigh more. muscle weighs more than fat! remember tat! (hey tat rhymed ha ha)
