Tough to find a band with my voice.?

I sing like Christina Aguilera but I want to perform and tour with my own band. Not many band people want a singer like me and I'm confused on where to go. I don't want to be doomed to Karaoke for the rest of my life.

I dont understand why anyone wouldn't want a singer in their band if they are as good as Christina...that woman can sing almost anything. Make sure you are versatile in your musical styles.. that will make you more hire-able to bands. OR Put an ad in the paper and find your own people and form your own sound.
